A selection of our recent projects

This Volvo Penta MD11 was out of compression due to overheating so we decided to overhaul it completely. After demounting the engine we performed the following works:

- Honing the cylinders

- New pistons and piston rings

- New valves 

- New big-end and camshaft bearings

- Fuel pump and injectors were overhauled

- Cylinder head has been flattened

- All seals and gaskets have been replaced

And finally fit it back in the sailing boat. We demounted the engine  part by part  but as you can see on the pictures for fitting it back we lifted it with a crane what is a lot easier and time saving. Engine is running smooth without any problem and can last at least another decade.
