Volvo Penta replacement exhaust riser (21684826)

Aftermarket exhaust riser or exhaust elbow as replacement for Volvo Penta part 21684826.

 

Because this exhaust riser is made from stainless steel it will last a lifetime. Besides that it is high-gloss polished. Tested and made for Volvo Penta D4-300A but fits several other Volvo Penta engines. All OEM-parts as ((water)-hose and turbo)) will fit without any problems on this exhaust riser.

Of course there are cosmetic differences compared to the original part however the designer has improved the design and used higher quality materials (stainless steel).

The gland/cap and seals in this rebuild set have been tested on various boats and are of very high quality.

 

This end cap is re-designed as the original caps use regular oil seals with SS spring which are not designed for wiping. This end cap has an extra set on the outside  where the wiper seal sits in so it won't slide out of the cap when the piston has some foul. İt can only be removed when the piston is out of the end cap. Due to excessive faul the cap seals still can be harmed so we added an extra set of seals for the cap. These seals are easy to replace. Happy boating!
